Dorothy Volunteer Fire Company

Dorothy Fire dispatched for a reported dwelling fire on Elm Ct. While responding multiple reports of a working fire were reported, 12700 requested a working fire box. 1271 arrived from Station #2 and deployed (2) 1 3/4 lines and started suppression. A 3rd line was added as mutual aid arrived. Milmay FC layed 5” supply line from the closest hydrant. Additional units helped with suppression and overhaul. While this was happening in close proximity a neighboring resident experienced a medical emergency requiring additional EMS resources. Thank you to our mutual aid companies-May Landing, Milmay, Estell Manor, Laureldale, Richland, Cumberland, Vineland #5, East Vineland, Tuckahoe, BVT EMS, Hamilton EMS, Upper Township EMS. Dorothy Fire responded 10 members staffing (3) engines and (1) ambulance.
